launch our new product line of Titanium Valves for the off road motorcycle market.
Engine
component manufacturer in the Santa Clarita Valley seeks dynamic, self
directed, individual to be part of our newest venture and sales team.
Responsibilities
include:
· Participate
in the product launch.
· Participate
in the implementation of a marketing and sales plan.
· Conduct
market research activities and analysis and establishes data management to
improve marketing efforts.
· Coordinate
the development and implementation of sales, marketing, advertising, and public
relations activities.
· Attend
trade shows and major motorcycle events to keep informed on current trends.
· Monitor
and analyze marketing promotion results to determine effectiveness of each
promotion campaign.
· Direct
and coordinate production of advertising and promotional spot announcements,
press releases, and direct mailings to customers.
· Promote
products and services to attract new customers and/or target markets.
· Identify,
screen, and select distributor candidates.
· Contact
customers using mailing lists, tickler files and personal follow-up to
encourage additional sales, maintain customer relationship, and ensure customer
satisfaction.
· An
understanding of Internal Combustion Engines (design, engineering, mechanical)
is desirable.
· Other
related duties deemed necessary.
EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s
degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or two years related
experience and/or training.
· Knowledge
and minimum 3 years experience with sales of aftermarket motorcycle parts, marketing
of motorcycles and other products sold by a dealership.
· Professional or personal
experience with motorcycles; preferably off-road motorcycles.
· Ability
to get along with a broad customer base.
· Excellent
communication Skills.
