  Key areas of focus:

  • Creation, development, and implementation of North American strategic marketing plan focused on motocross segments and overall ‘premium brand status’


    • Coordinate with KTM central marketing and marketing agency in Austria to implement global strategies in the North American Market.


  • Interact with new Product Management Team especially regarding product launches.

  • Retail Sales Program Oversight and Implementation


    • KTM Retail Finance

    • KTM Care

    • KTM and Husaberg Promo



  • Strategic Licensing and co-branding


  • CRM tool planning and implementation in North America including lead management.

  • Create system of marketing department training and communications (lead in staff development) focused around three key areas:


    • KTM Leadership and brand values

    • Customer (internal and external) oriented

    • Develop consistent system of remote marketing force management


      • Goals definition to objectives, both short and long term, for marketing department staff in all North American locations while taking into account Canadian and Mexican markets specifics.

Overview of Candidate Profile:


  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing.

  • Minimum 5 years in successful marketing, advertising and communications management experience (head count of direct and indirect of >10 is a plus).


    • Looking for demonstration of experience developing and coaching staff.  

  • International experience (Canada and Mexico is a plus with European, Austrian, German experience a big bonus).

  • US specific Offroad Powersports or similar premium brands industry experience.  

  • Experienced with long term, contractually structured customer relationships, the two tiered customer experience (Dlr and Rtl).

  • Experience with assisting long-term product planning and forecasting.


    • Looking for demonstration of market analysis, marketing plan development.

  • Experience with bottom line P&L responsibility.

  • Ability and experience with taking strategic direction, creating long term plans and implementing actions.

  • Passion for Offroad/MX Racing.

  • Based in Southern California with extensive business travels

  • Good stage presence and presentation skills; comfortable in front of large audiences.

  • Passionate and with fit/feel for the Offroad/MX motorcycle industry

  • Driven and detail-oriented
