Description |
Supports all aspects of the organization's Motorcycle Motorsports Race
Service which includes attending road race events; identifying and
providing the product servicing needs of contracted race teams and
riders; and performing various reporting and planning functions. |
Requirements |
- Valid Drivers License
- Excellent written & verbal interpersonal communication skills.
- BS in Engineering preferred relevant technical work experience in lieu of degree
- Three to five years' in motor sports industry experience as technical person or manager of team/rider; work experience in the tire industry preferred
- Responsible for providing effective customer service support relative to job responsibilities
- Good understanding of domestic racing environment
- Good PC skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel & Access software applications
- Up to 40% of required weekend & overnight travel

Tasks |
- Attends all major domestic road race events, providing product advice and other product-related service to Dunlop contracted race teams/riders.
- Assists Road Race Manager to determine specific product needs/requirements of Dunlop riders.
- Assists in developing and implementing service strategies with Road Race Manager in order to ensure maximum value to Company using available resources
- Provides Road Race Manager with written reports of all activities and findings from each race or test attended.
- Establishes and maintains close working relationship with all Dunlop sponsored teams and riders to best service them.
- Assists Road Race Manager with development of annual sponsorship programs. Would include review of racer resumes vs. the needs of GDTNA.
- Assists Road Race Manager with Inventory logistics , trucks and equipment efficiency
- Assists Road Race Manager with Club Race Contingency plan.
